Ranker Polymorph

Visual form, separate from combat buffs

The Ranker Polymorph is a special class-based transformation available to qualifying ranked characters. It changes the character’s appearance to a unique version of their current class while preserving the character’s normal Ranker combat buffs.

Visual only: The polymorph is separate from the Ranker buff system. It does not grant Ranker HP, AC, damage, or PvP bonuses by itself.

Eligibility

A character can use the standard Ranker Polymorph when they meet either requirement:

  • Place within the overall top 50.
  • Place within the top 3 of their class.

Overall and class rankings are updated during the regular ranking refresh. The polymorph becomes available after the character’s current ranking data has been calculated.

Characters must also meet the normal minimum-level requirement. Current Ranker Polymorph entries are configured for level 70 or higher.

Class and gender forms

The available form is selected automatically according to the character’s class and gender. Each class has separate male and female Ranker Polymorphs.

  • Prince
  • Knight
  • Elf
  • Wizard
  • Dark Elf
  • Dragon Knight
  • Illusionist
  • Warrior

How to obtain it

Eligible characters can select “Ranking Class Polymorph” through the normal polymorph selection interface using a supported polymorph scroll or polymorph control ring.

The transformation uses the character’s current class and gender automatically. Characters who do not meet the Ranker requirement cannot select the standard Ranker form.

The normal polymorph duration depends on the item used. The control-ring path currently applies the transformation for up to 2 hours.

What the transformation does

  • Changes the character’s visible sprite.
  • Uses the Ranker form’s weapon and armor compatibility settings.
  • Removes or unequips incompatible equipment when necessary.
  • Updates the character’s visual status for nearby players.
  • Allows normal skill usage according to the polymorph configuration.
  • Ends when the transformation duration expires or the polymorph is cancelled.

Cancellation protection

The current server provides stronger cancellation protection for Ranker Polymorphs used by characters in the overall top 20.

Overall ranks 21–50 and characters qualifying only through a top-three class ranking may not receive the same cancellation protection.

How rank updates work

  1. 01
    Find eligible characters

The server gathers every character who meets the level and account-status rules.

  2. 02
    Sort by total EXP

Characters are ordered from the highest total EXP to the lowest.

  3. 03
    Assign overall ranks

Eligible characters receive overall ranks from 1 to 100.

  4. 04
    Reconcile buffs

Previous and new ranks are compared; old buffs are removed when necessary and the correct new buff is applied.
